Okay, here we go again.

As mentioned in my previous journal entries regarding free art, deviants have every right to say "no" to free art when it is clearly necessary. With Spring Break that has ended earlier this week and with most people having semester-ending exams, I feel that it is the "poorest possible time" to ask when certain deviants is open for free commissions or when they will finish a drawing right now.

As long as I ask for free commissions only in self-moderation and learn to control my actions as much as possible, I shouldn't be making enemies to anyone. And sooner or later, when deviants find that doing free art ends up being too time consuming, they will end up having to make a tough decision to stop doing free commissions.

And asking for (or demanding) a free commission right smack in the middle of a deviant who is too (endlessly?) busy (either via comments or notes) or is no longer doing free commissions is only going to connect themselves to possible harassment which could result in making enemies instead of friends and no one wants that.

I just don't find it right for someone to spam and make a deliberate decision to jump on the bandwagon and deface their friendship with a barrage of excessive requests. That's what happened to the TanyaChernyak and LgacyX6 accounts, so many years ago.

The deviants in question made a lot of enemies from excessively asking for free commissions from others when they were told "no".

So, what has motivated me so much to draw my beloved characters that I created? It's because most of the deviants, who are hobby artists are really nice and like my characters really well to a point where deviants are willing to do my character in their style. As deviantART is just way too large to search through every journal entry and forum thread, it's impossible to ask everyone. More about the history of my Mechapuff character in a future journal entry and how it got so popular.

I'm gonna try to find a way to play around with the PSD files of my Mechapuff character by psionikubi and see how I can make a poster version of it soon. Keep in mind that I can't colour the drawing from scratch very well and I don't know if I will get anyone to colour it for me...that is, if it is possible.

On a side note, with less than 3,000 pageviews until the 250,000 kiriban, I feel that it would be best for me to step away from this website for a while and do something more productive for a change, don't you think? :B

That was a little misleading... judging from the header alone I 'd thought this was going to be about something like date rape prevention before I'd read the preview.
