ImageShack no longer free...

If any of you are still using ImageShack, there are some bad news.

ImageShack is in the process of converting all of its existing accounts to a 30-day trial and image uploading will be discontinued after the free trial expires.

I've been a member of ImageShack since September 2005 and I've been using the site to mostly upload kiriban and other miscellaneous screenshots, reference poses and drawings that have been done for me that cannot be hosted on my dA account. Therefore, I will no longer have the ability to upload any images on ImageShack.

However, as for existing accounts and images, it will remain intact indefinitely; however, I strongly warn that in any event further changes are made, existing accounts and image will eventually not be kept in the foreseeable future.

ImageShack redesigned their website on 16 December 2013 and made plans to discontinue the free image uploading service in the new year. The conversion to a 30-day trial is expected to be completed on 1 February 2014 after which image uploading will be discontinued on 3 March 2014 at the very latest.

The biggest reason why the redesign and the change is the cost of keeping the service continues to increase and the revenues generated from advertising were not enough to keep pace with the growth of the site.

Until I find another imagehosting site, only the kiriban screenshots and reference poses created from Poser will be uploaded on Sta.sh.
