This is the latest version of my Mechapuff character with a modified outfit, blue and red eyes. She also has blue bangs to the left and right areas on the front of the hair and red ones in the middle. The darker markings on her face in which it has been on her left side of her face have extended to the bottom left and there are three of them.

I tried so hard to get the anatomy and shading as correct as possible, but I was unable to do it any longer, but I like how how it turned out. The top part of her hair was the hardest thing to do. I tried to fix it up as much as possible, but I couldn't do that any longer as well.

The colours used for this drawing are references to used to colour the hair, skin and clothing design. I'll consider uploading a lineart version of this drawing for you to colour it soon.

This is also my first long-bodied Powerpuff drawing in about a year and while it took almost a month to complete this drawing off and on, it technically took days.

This drawing was initially a 200 pixels in width and 400 pixels in height but for better viewing, the drawing was resized by 100%. The background is transparent and PNG transparency will only work on IE 7, Netscape Navigator or Mozilla Firefox. I never done this drawing and converted it to a transparent background before, but the problem was that I had to fix the areas of the drawing in order to not match the white colour of the background that was made transparent.

PaintBBS v2.2_5, OekakiBBS 2.802, MS-Paint and Jasc Paint Shop Pro 7 were the tools used to this drawing.

Comments and favourites on this drawing are welcome.

Happy Holidays to everyone and may the new year be best to all of you! :santa::heart::rudolph:

My personal opinion on work of this ilk is as follows: I will always prefer original styles over familiar cartoon style emulation.
However :) I understand that your vision was to create your own PPG character, and I like how you have included your own touches (i.e.: the lengthening of the body and limbs, rather than the cutesy, chibi-fied style that the PPG characters usually have) and the touch of anime stylisation with the large, spiked hairdo.
The hair is perhaps my favourite part of this image - it's very nicely drawn (I love the spiked bangs!) and the colouring is exceptional - seems like it's pixel by pixel? If so, very nicely done indeed. Hair is one of those things I personally find very difficult to shade realistically when it comes to digital imagery.
The colour choice is good, too. Red and blue looks very striking on grey!

I like the flowing lines you have going on in her upper body particularly. And also the thin upper arms versus the thicker lower limbs. Also the flow of her torso is very nice.

More food for thought, in the same vein of what I said before

Mostly messed around with the contrast again. I understand she's in a cartoony style, so I can understand why you might keep her colors more flat looking. But it's something to ponder, having more contrast between the shaded and light areas.
Also messed around with the shape of her hair on her left and I did some minor tweaks to the lines of her hips.
See what you think. Once more not saying you have to do those things. Just tossing the possibility out there for you to see.

I do wish you had done her bangs like how you have them in this picture [link]

They have a nicer flow in the other picture than the do here. Don't quite know why, but they do ^^;

Thanks! I admit that I messed up on the contrast of this drawing and I may have to fix the colours in my future drawings as a reference.

im unfamiliar with ppg style does she have hands or clamps? they look odd to me. and what physical age is she?

Vegetables are alot like buttsecks...If you're forced to have it as a kid, you're not gonna like it as an adult.

Girls are alot like squaring numbers...if they're under 13 just do them in your head.

If you're unfamiliar with the original Powerpuff version of Mechapuff, the anime/semirealistic version of Mechapuff has hands. As for her age, I'm guessing that she is a adult. I will explain this when I revise her if that's alright with you. :)

By doing a search for Mechapuff under dA search: [link]

You'll find one of the best images that other artists have done for me.
