Description
My latest screencap taken on the host PC in time for Christmas.
The latest screenshot has a wallpaper of a Christmas tree with orbs on top of it and snow on the ground with the night skyline. Apparently, the wallpaper originated from art.softshape.com. At this time, I honestly don't know who did this wallpaper. The background consists of a Christmas tree app app and Winamp 5.57 with the ZDL Analog Studio 5 skin.
So far, this laptop PC has been running for almost 35 days now, But even as the sluggishness and the stress is causing the sectors on the Samsung HM320JI hard drive to fail and end up being marked as bad, this PC is still quite usable. Sadly, it's been that way since the 18th of October. So far, this hard drive is 88% fit, has 16 bad sectors with 4 sectors that are failing. More sectors will eventually fail as stress is taking a beating out of this hard drive.
At one time, this PC ran for almost 61 days and I was forced to reboot after I defragmented the hard drive which caused the Control Panel and Windows Explorer to stop working correctly. This PC could have survived for almost 100 days without a reboot and all the way into the new decade if it didn't happen.
If this the Samsung HM320JI hard drive fails S.M.A.R.T status (most likely with the failing attribute of 01), I'm not getting the hard drive replaced. I'm gonna end up starting all over again as this laptop PC will not be retrofitted for Windows 7 as I already spent enough money on Christmas gifts.
Secondly, here is a screenshot running off Windows 3.11 under DOSBox 0.73. The guest OS is running off of a 504 MB hard disk image (with 197.1 MB of disk space remaining) and 16 MB of memory. The screenshot features a sexy girl dressed inside of a Santa suit ([link]). However, because the original image is marked as mature, I have a couple of apps running in the background to cover her panties including, Clock, MemGraph 3.0 and WinDock 1.51.
Do a search for these apps in Google and off of various WinSite FTP websites and you'll see what I mean.
